Unfortunately, as is the custom in my office, there was no one there to give notice TO. The boss was out of town, the assistant boss had left for the day, and the other assistant boss was offsite. And it'll be the same thing tomorrow...so, no notice til Monday.
Congratulations! I've had my fingers crossed for you -- but, what are you going to do if the other job, the one detoured by the hospital stay, comes through? Wouldn't that be a great position to be in?
Yay! Good news of the day! That's fantastic. So have you already given notice?
